How do I know?

Because once upon a time, I was standing right where you are now…frustrated with my body, stressed out, and desperately striving to make progress, but just spinning my wheels.

My Story

Exercise has always been a part of my life. Through high school, I was a 3-sport athlete. And, in college, I drug myself to the gym nearly every single day.

Despite being fit and healthy, I was unhappy with my body and uncomfortable in my own skin. I never looked forward to my workouts. But, my thoughts were riddled with fear of gaining weight, so I did them anyway.

When I couldn’t make it to the gym, I felt guilty. When I did make it to the gym, whatever I did there never felt good enough.

I was constantly comparing myself to other women.

“When I look like her,” I’d say to myself, “then I can buy some nice clothes.”

“When I look like her, then I can stop being so hard on myself.”

“When I look like her, then I can step it up…take those exciting risks I’ve been considering and get what I really want to out of life.”

This became my mantra of madness that repeated itself in my mind multiple times per day and wreaked havoc on my well-being.

My confidence, sense of happiness, and, ironically, my health: plummeted.

My stress and anxiety: skyrocketed.

So, I started doing yoga and Pilates. But, not for the soul-centered reasons you may think. Nope.

The truth: I started doing them because I was fed up with not getting the results I wanted with other forms of exercise and I heard so many celebrities talk about using yoga and Pilates to get and maintain their amazing bodies.

The results: I started to see and feel the difference, almost instantly.

This gave me the motivation to continue, even though I thought yoga & Pilates were really weird at first.

I couldn’t deny the fact that I was flexible for the first time in my life. (Prior to yoga & Pilates, when I’d try to touch my toes, I was at least six inches away from the ground.)

Despite being an athlete in high school, yoga & Pilates were making me stronger than I had ever been.

I was in the best shape of my life!

And, my chronic joint and muscle pain disappeared completely.

I looked way better in pictures because, for the first time ever, I had the body awareness to hold myself with functional, attractive posture.

I had more energy and slept like a rock.

Then, I started noticing results I wasn’t expecting.

I was more confident and way more comfortable in my own skin. My mental fog transformed into consistent clarity and it became much easier for me to focus and be productive.

I was handling life better. I stopped taking everything so G-d seriously, including myself. For the first time in my life, I gave myself a break and nixed the self-defeating mental chatter that I had used in the past to convince myself wasn’t good enough…ever. (See ya!)

I didn’t feel like my body was “wrong” anymore and I no longer felt like “her” and I were constantly battling. I had made friends with the enemy and found out “she” was pretty cool and worth appreciating…at any weight.

My dark cloud of stress and anxiety parted.

And, drumroll please…

I actually looked forward to my workouts. For real.

Fast forward to today: yoga & Pilates continue to play a huge role in my life.

Throughout my 10+ years of instructing, I’ve seen thousands of women transform their bodies, and their lives, using these forms of exercise.

Yoga & Pilates continue to be my number one tool for feeling great in my body and excited about my life.

I’m lucky, though. Because of my extensive training and experience doing and teaching yoga & Pilates, I can throw my mat down anywhere and move myself through a workout.

I wanted to provide that same luxury to you.

That’s why I created my Yoga & Pilates Online Membership program; to give you access to workouts anytime of the day that works best for you and anywhere in the world you happen to be.

I hate the thought of you missing out just because you don’t have classes in your area or the classes don’t work around your schedule.
